Livingstone UNCF fundraiser

Livingstone College hosted its seventh annual “Share Your Love” banquet Thursday night in the William J. Trent Gymnasium.
The event recognizes leaders who have supported Livingstone College, and this year’s honorees were the Rev. Dr. Nilous M. Avery II, pastor of Mount Zion Mission Baptist Church, Salisbury; Iris M. Battle, missionary supervisor of the Northeastern Episcopal District of the AME Zion Church; Dr. Moses L. Harvill, pastor of Cross Street AME Zion Church, Middletown, Conn.; Willie Jean Kennedy, a Livingstone College graduate and member of the Rowan-Salisbury Board of Education; Vilma D. Leake, a Livingstone graduate and member of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Board of Education; Trumiller W. Ramseur, a Livingstone graduate and retired guidance director from New York; Mary R. Williams, a Livingstone graduate and retired Maryland educator; and Dorothy P. Woodard, a Livingstone graduate, retired educator and former Rowan-Salisbury teacher who lives in Statesville.
The banquet also serves as a fundraiser for the United Negro College Fund, and all contributions are tax-deductible.
