Joel Patrick Latimer is a May 16 of Grace Baptist College in Gaylord, Mich., with a bachelor of biblical studies in missions.
Latimer worked on the Wolverine/Vanderbilt church bus route all four years of his education and traveled to Athens, Greece, to work with a veteran missionary there. He plans to join Missionary Lane Stockton and his family to work in missions in Greece.
A 2004 graduate and valedictorian of Trinity Baptist Academy in Mocksville, he is the son of John and Rissa Latimer of Salisbury.
