Kindergarten registration begins in Rowan

The Rowan-Salisbury School System is now accepting kindergarten registration for the 2008-09 school year.
Eligible children must be 5 years old on or before Oct. 16. North Carolina requires a certified birth certificate, kindergarten health assessment and immunization records for entering kindergarten.
A proof of domicile is also required. Documents that can be used to establish residence include a current utility bill, lease agreement, contractor/ loan agreement for primary residence (verification of utility bill to follow), Social Services financial assistance documentation, driver’s license, rent receipts or property owner verification that person is living at the address. Additional documentation may be required if information is incomplete.

– Bostian Elementary, 8:30 a.m-9:30 a.m. and 3-4 p.m. May 8.
– China Grove Elementary, 9-10 a.m. and 6-7 p.m. May 5.
– Cleveland Elementary, 9-10 a.m. and 5-6 p.m. May 7.
– Koontz Elementary, 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and 5:30-6:30 p.m. May 8.
– Hanford Dole Elementary, 9-10 a.m. and 6-7 p.m. May 8.
– Enochville Elementary, 8-10:30 a.m. and 4-6 p.m. May 6 and 8-10:30 a.m. and 2-4 p.m. May 7 and 8.
– Faith Elementary, 2-6 p.m. May 6 and 8-10 a.m. May 7 and 8.
– Granite Quarry Elementary, 8-10 a.m. May 5, 7 and 8 and 3:30-5 p.m. May 6 only.
– Hurley Elementary, 10-11 a.m. and 6:30-7:30 p.m. May 8.
– Isenberg Elementary, 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. May 7.
– Knollwood Elementary, 9-10 a.m. and 4-5 p.m. May 5.
– Landis Elementary, 9-11:30 a.m. and 4-6 p.m. May 8.
– Millbridge Elementary, 9-10 a.m. and 6-7 p.m. May 8.
– Morgan Elementary, 9-10:30 a.m. and 3-4:30 p.m. May 7.
– Mount Ulla Elementary, 9-11 a.m. and 6-8 p.m. (English/Spanish) May 8.
– North Rowan Elementary, 8:30 a.m.-noon and 3-6 p.m. (Spanish) May 7.
– Overton Elementary, 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. May 5-8 and 5-6:30 p.m. May 6 only.
– Rockwell Elementary, 9-10 a.m. and 6-7 p.m. May 5.
– Shive Elementary, 6-7 p.m. May 6 and 9-10 a.m. May 7.
– Woodleaf Elementary, 10-11:30 a.m., 4-5:30 p.m. (Spanish) and 6-7:30 p.m. May 6.
