Kannapolis’ Diversity and Newcomers Commission is sponsoring “Lunch and Learn Kannapolis,” a panel discussion led by Dr. Eddie Grigg, president of the New Life Theological Seminary in Charlotte, on Friday, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Kannapolis Train Station.
Approximately 130 invitations have been sent to area church leaders inviting them to this discussion on welcoming people of diversity into the community.
Grigg, originally of Cleveland County, holds a master’s degree in divinity with religious education from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and a doctorate of ministry from Emmanuel Baptist University. He founded New Life Theological Seminary in 1993, where he teaches classes in the pastoral ministry, urban ministry and Christian education sectors.
