Kannapolis bank robbery Monday

KANNAPOLIS ó A lone man robbed the First Charter Bank at 2001 Shiloh Church Road Monday morning.
The robbery happened about 9:05 a.m., and bank security cameras captured photographs of the suspect.
The bank is located at the corner of Davidson Highway and Shiloh Church Road. Police responded to an alarm call from the bank.
Kannapolis Police and FBI investigators are looking for a black man, 40 to 50 years old, who is 5 feet-6 to 8 inches tall and 150 pounds. He was wearing a green shirt, blue jeans, dark sunglasses and a light colored hat.
The man entered the bank and demanded money, and a bank employee gave him an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect then left the business and was last seen walking west on Davidson Highway toward Mecklenburg County.
The suspect never produced a weapon, and no injuries were reported.
