According to the N.C. Department of Transportation, crews will continue milling rumble strips along I-85 in Rowan County on Sunday, weather permitting.

Roadwork will take place from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday, and nightly through Thursday morning, July 31, weather permitting.

Intermittent lane closures will take place between milemarkers 80 (near Spencer) and 87 (near U.S. 52) in both directions.

Motorists are encouraged to remain alert and to use caution in these work zones.
