The Susan J. Gloeckler Memorial Awards reception originally scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 16 has been rescheduled for Sunday, Nov. 30 at 3 p.m. in the Stanback Room of the Rowan Public Library on West Fisher Street.
This recognition event is held annually by the Humane Society of Rowan County. Recipients are recognized for a one time outstanding contribution to animal welfare or for their ongoing efforts on behalf of animals.
Recipients must not be members of the Humane Society of Rowan County. Nominations may be made until Friday, Nov. 21 by calling 704-636-5700 or by e-mailing details to humanesocietyofrowancounty@windstream.net.
