Dr. Kim Blanding, a pediatric dentist with Sanchez and Associates in Kannapolis, examines Allison Figueroa, 5, as a part of Give Kids a Smile Day on Friday. Blanding said she is involved in the program because ‘I understand the importance of access to care. … I know how it must feel to have a toothache and not be able to go to the dentist.’ See complete details on the program in the next edition of the Kannapolis Citizen, which is published on Wednesday.
