United Way of Rowan County and Interdenominational Fellowship Ministries will host a health fair from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the cafeteria at Salisbury High School, 200 Lincolnton Road.
The Elizabeth Hanford Dole Chapter of the American Red Cross will host a blood drive during the fair, from 10 a.m. until 2:15 p.m.
Agencies represented at the fair will include Rowan Regional Hospice; Home Instead Senior Care; Home Health Professional; Maxim Healthcare Services; R.A.I.N. (HIV/AIDS); Gentiva Health Services; Good Shepherd Clinic; Primary Health Concepts; Bayada Nurses;
Battered Women’s Shelter; Greensboro Plastic Surgical Associates; Crescent Medical Research; Pregnancy Support Center; Rape Family Abuse Crisis Council; Lyerly Counseling Service; Hairston Funeral Home; Western & Southern Insurance; and Rufty-Holmes Senior Center.
