North Hills Christian School held a baccalaureate service for its six graduating seniors May 29 in the media center.
Dr. Shirley Luckadoo, former vice president of academic programs at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College, was the speaker.
Graduation exercises were held in the school gymnasium May 30 with David Whisenant, WBTV reporter, as the speaker.
Speeches were also given by Michelle Shoemaker, valedictorian, and Cameron Sherrill, salutatorian.
Junior marshals were Kimberly Strickland, chief, and Blake Rhinehardt.
North Hills’ 2008 seniors have made the following plans:
Catawba College: Amanda Moose and Cameron Sherrill.
University of North Carolina at Wilmington: Jeff Richardson.
Rowan-Cabarrus Community College: Michelle Shoemaker.
University of North Carolina at Pembroke: Alex Thayil.
Cabarrus College of Health and Science: Chelsea Wilson.
