Sarah Kepley graduates from WCU

Sarah Leeanna Kepley is a Dec. 16 graduate of Western Carolina University in Cullowhee. She received a bachelor of science degree in communications with a concentration in electronic media.

A 2003 graduate of East Rowan High School, Kepley is the daughter of Bill and Anna Kepley of Salisbury.

She is doing freelance sports production work for several companies, including ESPN, NBC, TNT, FSN and Lincoln Financial Sports. She is also in the process of starting a studio position at a Charlotte television station.

East Carolina grad

Ashley Nicole Pierce is a Dec. 16 graduate of East Carolina University in Greenville. She received a bachelor of fine arts with a concentration in illustration.

A 2002 graduate of East Rowan High School, Pierce is the daughter of Brad and Theresa Pierce of Granite Quarry.

She plans to pursue a master of fine arts degree at ECU.

UNC-Charlotte grad

Ashley Christina White is a Dec. 15 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a bachelor of science degree in accounting.

A 2003 graduate of East Rowan High School, White is the daughter of Nancy Eason White of Spencer.

She is working as an accountant for the Crosland Group in Charlotte.

UNC-Chapel Hill grad

Katherine Noel “Katie” Willett is a Dec. 17 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She received a bachelor of arts degree in political science.

A 2003 graduate of South Rowan High School, Willett is the daughter of Jim and Frieda Willett of China Grove.

She is currently working for the Wallace and Graham law firm and plans to enter law school next fall.
