UNC medical school
Aaron Wayne Trammell received a doctor of medicine degree with distinction May 11 from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine in Chapel Hill.
He will be a resident physician in internal medicine at Vanderbilt University Hospital in Nashville, Tenn.
A 1999 graduate of South Rowan High School, he received a bachelor of science degree in chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2003.
Son of Mr. and Mrs. Terry Trammell of Salisbury, he is married to the former Lisa Cassani, who also graduated this year from the UNC School of Medicine and will be a resident physician in internal medicine at Vanderbilt.
