UNCG graduate
Amanda Kristine Morgan is a Dec. 20 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She received a bachelor of science degree in interior architecture from the School of Human Environmental Services.
As part of her degree program, Morgan helped design and construct a UNCG housing project that was environmentally “green.” She completed her internship through the Historic Salisbury Foundation. Her senior thesis proposed to convert Spencer’s Melba Court Apartments into an efficient, secure area for battered women.
A 2003 graduate of East Rowan High School, she is the daughter of Boyd and Patricia Kirk Morgan of Salisbury.
