Girl Scout Silver Awards

Lauren Snider and Kayla Morgan received their Cadette Girl Scout Awards on Sunday June 1st at Central Methodist Church. Wendy Barnhardt, Crystal Bullock and Ginger Honeycutt, leaders of Cadette Girl Scout Troop 1070, presented the awards.
Lauren is the daughter of Donna and Scott Snider of Salisbury. As a Cadette Girl Scout, she earned nine Interest project patches, the Cadette Leadership award, the From Dreams to Reality patch and the Cadette Girl Scout Challenge. She is a sophomore at North Rowan High School where she plays soccer and volleyball. She is a a member of Central Methodist Church where she is is involved in the choir, hand bells and the youth group.
Kayla is the daughter of Shari Morgan of Salisbury. She earned seven Interest project patches, the From Dreams to Reality patch, the Cadette Leadership Award and the Cadette Girl Scout Challenge. She is a sophomore at North Rowan High School where she is a member of the tennis team. She is a member of Central Methodist Church where she is involved in the choir, hand bells and youth group.
Lauren and Kayla worked together on their Silver Project. They decorated flower pots, filled them with handmade flowers and gave them to residents of Autumn Care to decorate their rooms.
