A 15-year-old girl injured her head after being pushed to the ground in the Wal-Mart SuperCenter parking lot off Arlington Street late Saturday afternoon.
She was not seriously hurt but was transported to Rowan Regional Medical Center as a precaution. She hit her head on the pavement.
Salisbury Police charged two males and the 15-year-old girl with public affray. The men involved were charged as adults. The girl will be a juvenile referral.
Sgt. Paul Johnson of the Salisbury Police Department said a knife was present during the parking lot disturbance, but there was no indication it was used.
Johnson said the fight, which drew a sizeable crowd at first, has nothing to do with the store. He was not sure what led to the altercation.
The incident happened about 5 p.m.
