Fund set up to aid familiesThe city of Salisbury and the Salisbury Fire Department are establishing a fund to aid the families of Justin Monroe and Victor Isler, the firefighters who died Friday in the line of duty.
The Bank of North Carolina, with branches in Salisbury and Harrisburg, will serve as a repository for the tax-deductible donations.
A link to the Bank of North Carolina Web site will be available early in the week through the city of Salisbury Web site at www.salisburync.gov.
