Free tax-return help available
A government-sponsored service that helps mid- to low-income people prepare their tax returns for free has started making appointments for this tax season.
Once again, the Park Avenue community building at 632 Park Ave. is serving as an IRS-VITA tax preparation site.
Lou Manning is site director and Marjorie Gordon is coordinator.
Volunteers will help people with taxes by appointment only, and appointments start Saturday.
