LANDIS — Frank Tadlock, businessman and former county commissioner, died Tuesday at Carolinas Medical Center.

Tadlock had battled a brain tumor for the past year after having surgery in December 2005.

His condition had deteriorated in the past several days.

Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home in China Grove is handling arrangements.

The family will receive friends Friday night at the funeral home. The funeral will be at First Reform Church in Landis at 2 p.m. Saturday.
