Food Lion grocery stores agreed Thursday to stop purchasing from Dolores Tuna because the company catches its tuna by intentionally chasing and capturing dolphins, according to a press release from the International Marine Mammal Project.
The Earth Island Institute is a nonprofit educational agency that runs the project, which works to protect whales, dolphins and other marine mammals around the world.
