The seventh annual Food Lion/American Red Cross Golf Classic will be held Friday at Country Club of Salisbury.
The event will begin with lunch at 11:30 a.m., followed by a 1 p.m. tee off. Last year’s participants and donors made a significant contribution to the Elizabeth Hanford Dole Chapter of the American Red Cross by raising money to help victims of home fires and other disasters and to ensure that the community is prepared for the possibiliy of a major disaster.
The Country Club of Salisbury’s course is a 6,500-yard course designed by Donald Ross, one of American’s premier golf course architects. The course is designed to meet the needs of players of all ages and abilities.
