Dr. Ada M. Fisher, a Republican candidate for the N.C. House District 77 seat, was honored Thursday with the Koontz Humanitarian Award by the Salisbury-Rowan Human Relations Council.
She was honored along with Ollie Mae Carroll and William C. Stanback.
The Humanitarian Awards Banquet was held in the Salisbury Civic Center.
