Rowan Regional Medical Center has joined a city fund drive for the families of Justin Monroe and Victor Isler, firefighters who lost their lives a week ago in the tragic fire at Salisbury Millwork.
The city of Salisbury has set up this fund with the Bank of North Carolina serving as repository for the tax-deductible contributions.
Rowan Regional employees who would like to contribute can drop off cash or checks made out to the city of Salisbury Fireman Memorial Fund at the following drop-off points: Information Desk, Hospitality Shop, cafeteria, Human Resources, Administration (Carol Padon), the Bost Building (Marsha Correll), Home Health & Hospice and the Medical Park at Julian Road (Jean Young or Debbie Hartley).
Donations will be accepted through March 31, and the total amount collected will be announced April 4. For more information about the hospital’s participation, call Zandra Spencer in Corporate Communications.
