Fire destroys Rockwell mobile home

ROCKWELL ó Firefighters battled a blaze that destroyed a mobile home Thursday evening. No one was injured.
The call came in around 6:30 p.m. about a fire at 635 Miller St., Rockwell Assistant Fire Chief Terry Beaver said.
The mobile home was engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived, Beaver said.
He said it took a little over an hour to get the fire under control.
No one was in the mobile home when the fire began, Beaver said.
“An owner showed up,” he said. “I don’t know if it was abandoned or not.”
The mobile home was destroyed in the blaze, he said.
Rockwell, Rockwell Rural and Gold Hill firefighters responded.
