The second annual Faith Lutheran Church Relay for Life Car Show will be held Saturday at Faith American Legion Park.
The car show will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and has been expanded this year to include motorcycles. Registration is $20 to enter vehicles from the 1800s to present in classes including foreign, domestic, classics and tuners.
Fourteen trophies will be awarded to winners to be determined by ballot voting. Each person who registers a vehicle in the car show will be given a ballot.
Food and drinks will be sold at the car show along with baked goods. All proceeds will go to the Faith Lutheran Relay for Life Team, one of more than 70 teams throughout the county raising money for the American Cancer Society’s annual fundraiser.
Live entertainment will be provided, and a half-and-half drawing will be held. Luminaries to be set up at the May 2-3 Relay for Life event will be on sale for $10 apiece and may be purchased in honor or memory of someone with cancer.
The team will also be continuing its Coins for a Cure loose change fundraiser at the car show. Last year’s show raised $1,700 for cancer services and research.
The car show will be cancelled in the event of rain and rescheduled later. For more information, e-mail cer0815
