Elon graduate
Patrick Adams graduated May 24 from Elon University with a bachelor of science degree in accounting and economics.
Adams attended Elon on a four-year baseball scholarship and helped lead the team to the 2002 Southern Conference championship and regional competition in Clemson, S.C.
He was a member of Omicron Delta Epsilon economics honorary society and Beta Alpha Psi accounting honor society.
He is working in the town of Mooresville’s accounting department and will begin a position as a staff accountant at Cherry, Bekaert & Holland, a public accounting firm in Charlotte, in August. He plans to sit for the CPA exam after he joins the Charlotte firm.
A 2004 graduate of West Rowan High School, he is the son of Avery and Beth Adams of Salisbury.
