Salisbury Police are looking into how an elderly woman was locked in her home in the former Cone Mill neighborhood, allegedly by her caregiver.
Police reports said an officer on foot patrol heard the woman knocking from inside the house. The door was locked from the outside.
Her caregiver told police it was to keep her from wandering away. The investigation continues.
