Education: 2005 East Rowan graduate receives scholarship at Appalachian

Cameron Brady Frick has been awarded a $4,000 physical education-coaching scholarship at Appalachian State University in Boone.
Frick is a junior physical education and teaching education major at ASU, where he has a 3.2 grade-point average.
The merit scholarship is based on a grade-point average of 3.0 or higher and will automatically renew provided Frick maintains the required level.
A 2005 graduate of East Rowan High School, he is the son of Janice and Jeff Safrit and Tad and Georgia Frick.
