East Y schedules lifeguard classes
The Saleeby-Fisher YMCA/ East Rowan Branch is taking registrations for Lifeguarding for the Professional Rescuer.
Classes will be held Feb. 6-28 on Fridays from 5-7 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Upon successful completion of this class, participants will receive certifications in CPR for the Professional Rescuer, First Aid and Lifeguarding.
The cost is $150 for YMCA members and $180 for potential members. Registration for the lifeguarding classes can be completed online at www.rowanymca.org.
