East Spencer man faces several drug charges

EAST SPENCER — A man here faces drug charges stemming from a search of his 110 Isenhour St. residence last Friday.
Anthony James Smith, 22, was charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine and maintaining a dwelling for the sale of a controlled substance, according to a press release from the East Spencer Police Department. Officers seized 1.7 grams of crack cocaine, a 9-mm handgun and $6,095 in cash during the search, the release said.
The search warrant was obtained as part of a narcotics investigation by Lt. J.R. Schmierer. The Salisbury Police Department assisted in the arrest.
