Democratic voter registration drive
Rowan County’s 18th Democratic Precinct Committee will hold a voter registration drive on Sept. 6.
The committee will hold a yard/hot dog sale fundraiser on Sept. 13, starting at 8 a.m. at the East Spencer Post Office.
At the committee’s Aug. 7 meeting, the group installed Curtis Cowan, of 730 Tanglewood Drive, as secretary-treasurer and named Robert Smith a convention delegate.
