MOCKSVILLE ó Students who will take classes on the Davie County campus of Davidson County Community College for the first time this fall are invited to an open house and information session on the Davie campus Aug. 2.
Day students should attend the 9 a.m.-2 p.m. session, and evening students the 5:30-9 p.m. session. All new students should assemble in Rooms 119 and 120 of the Laboratory Building.
New students will receive information in the mail about the open house schedule. The Student Government Association will also provide a free meal for those who attend.
Students will be able to observe and ask questions of a faculty/student panel, attend an orientation session, eat lunch or dinner, meet other new students, tour the campus, obtain their DCCC ConnectCard (student ID), get parking decals, learn about student support services, including tutoring, and find out more about campus athletics, clubs, activities and leadership opportunities.
Fall registration continues through July, and classes begin Aug. 15.
