Crime Stoppers offering $1,000 for information on shooting death

Investigators need help in determining who murdered a Salisbury man last week. Salisbury-Rowan Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information regarding the shooting death of Rico Amos Baker.
Baker, 23, of East Horah Street, was shot and died outside a home on East Cemetery Street around midnight April 15. The Salisbury Police Department is investigating.
Crime Stoppers is offering up to $1,000 for information.

The caller may remain anonymous and the call is free.
The cash reward comes from funding provided by Salisbury-Rowan Crime Stoppers.
Baker was found lying in the front yard of the East Cemetery Street home with a gunshot wound. Paramedics tried to save Baker, but he died at the scene.
Salisbury Police detectives and other agencies are still looking for the shooter and following leads.
It is still unclear why Baker was there.
Funeral services for Baker were held Monday with burial at Oakwood Cemetery.
