A Salisbury couple is being held in the Rowan County Detention Center, accused of assaulting one another Sunday.

Yolanda Nunn, 36, and Donnie Leon Nunn, 36, of 700 W. Fisher St., are each charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury.

They are being held without privilege of bond pending a domestic bond hearing today.

According to warrants, Yolanda assaulted Donnie with a straight razor while Donnie assaulted Yolanda with a wooden chair.

A Rowan County magistrate said they were each treated and released from Rowan Regional Medical Center.
