In the story “Board considers redistricting” in today’s paper, the geographic location of a group of students the school board could consider moving from West Rowan High School to North Rowan was incorrect.
About 21 students who are in the eighth through 11th grades live in the area from the Woodleaf and Goodson roads intersection to the Woodleaf and Gheen roads intersection, said Gene Miller, assistant superintendent of operations for the Rowan-Salisbury School System.
Those students might live closer to North Rowan High than West Rowan High, Miller said.
