Dr. Teresa Bratton, a Democrat running for office in the 6th Congressional District, will make two stops in Rowan County on Thursday. She’ll be at the American Legion Hall on Gantt Street in Faith from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and at George’s Italian Grill, 124 E. Innes St., from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Bratton also visited Rowan County last week, where she emphasized her concern for health care and environmental issues.
A pediatrician from Greensboro, Bratton is one of three Democrats vying to challenge Republican incumbent U.S. Rep. Howard Coble. The others are Johnny J. Carter and Jay Ovittore. The Democratic primary is Tuesday.
