CONCORD ó Concord Police officers responded Wednesday to a bank robbery at the Wachovia Bank located at 40 Cabarrus Ave. E. The suspect was described as a white male between 35 and 40 years old.
He was described as approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing around 150 pounds. He wore a black-and-white checked button-up jacket and white denim pants.
He was also wearing a black toboggan and sunglasses with socks over his hands. He threatened the use of a firearm.
Authorities had no information Wednesday on what kind of vehicle the man left in, if any.
The suspect left with an undetermined amount of money, police said.
