Attention deficit disorder workshop
Communities in Schools is partnering with Salisbury Pediatric Associates to offer a free workshop Monday about working with kids who have attention deficit disorder or attention deficient-hyperactivity disorder.
The hour-long workshop lasts from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Food Lion Board Room on the second floor of the Gateway Building, 204 E. Innes St., Salisbury.
Ann Davis will lead the workshop about the condition commonly known by its initials ó ADD or ADHD ó and how it can affect a child’s learning style.
Communities in Schools organized the event for its volunteers and then decided to open it to the public.
