Democratic presidential contender U.S. Sen. Hillary Clinton has added a Concord stop to her swing through the state Monday.
Clinton will stop at 4:30 p.m. at Troutman’s Barbecue, 362 Church St. N., in Concord.
That stop will come between her 3 p.m. appearance at the Salisbury Depot and her 6 p.m. rally at Time Warner Cable Arena (formerly the Charlotte Bobcats Arena) in Charlotte.
Clinton’s daughter, Chelsea, will join her for the Charlotte event.
Anyone wanting to attend the Clinton event at the Salisbury Depot will go through metal detectors.
The Clinton campaign is advising against bringing signs or bags.
With showers in the forecast, the event will be under the covered section adjacent to the track. Entry to the site will be from the Council Street side.
Former President Bill Clinton is also making a return trip to the state with several appearances Tuesday and Wednesday.
Clinton will visit Boone, Wilkesboro, Elkin and Mount Airy on Tuesday. He will make stops in Apex, Sanford, Lillington, Dunn, Hope Mills, Lumberton and Whiteville on Wednesday.
