Salisbury Police are searching for two armed men who robbed clerks at the Kangaroo convenience store early Tuesday morning.

Around 6:36 a.m., two men entered the store at 2270 Statesville Blvd., pointed small silver handguns at clerks and made them sit on the floor inside an office.

The men took the night deposit bag and demanded the clerks give them the store’s video surveillance tape.

The two are described as black men with small builds, about 5 feet 8 inches or 5 feet 9 inches tall. They wore dark hats, blue bandannas across their faces, dark jackets and pants with shiny material on the cloth.

The men were last seen heading across U.S. 70 toward Godley’s Garden Center and Nursery.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 704-638-5333.
