Livingstone College, in collaboration with the Rowan Public Library, will host its annual Children’s Book Festival April 26, next Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the campus green.
The event is free and open to children throughout the Salisbury-Rowan County communities. Children 3 to 12 years old, when accompanied by an adult, will receive two free books of their choice.
The event also features food and entertainment, including storytelling, bounce houses and other activities.
