CONCORD ó Cabarrus County will lift its local burning ban at noon today, the same time the state burning ban is lifted.
By lifting the ban, residents now will be allowed to burn yard debris consisting of natural vegetation within 100 feet of a structure.
However, residents are urged to use caution as ground cover remains dry due to insufficient rainfall.
