Break-in victims charged with marijuana possession

A Salisbury couple whose home was broken into a week ago were charged with possessing four pounds of marijuana.
The couple were held at gunpoint in their home March 20 by four suspects with more than $10,000 worth of items taken.
On Friday night, the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office charged Billy Joe Crisco, 32, and Teresa Taylor Crisco, 53, of 150 Lazy Lane, with the following: possession of drug paraphernalia; possession with the intent to manufacture, sell and deliver a schedule VI controlled substance; maintaining a vehicle or dwelling place for a controlled substance and felony possession of a schedule VI controlled substance.
According to an arrest warrant, the suspects were found with 287 grams of marijuana in their 1994 Plymouth.
Investigators also found scales and plastic baggies inside the car.
Both Crisco and his wife, Teresa, are each being held at the Rowan County Detention Center under a $75,000 bond.
