An East Spencer woman has been charged with shoplifting items from four stores in Salisbury Mall, 1935 W. Jake Alexander Blvd., according to the Salisbury Police Department.
Sheri Yolanda Bryant, 39, 324 Southern St., East Spencer, was charged Aug. 2 with four counts of misdemeanor larceny. She is accused of stealing merchandise valued at $125.48 from Payless Shoes, JC Penney, Claire’s Boutique and Cato’s. She was held under $500 secured bond pending a Sept. 17 trial date.
Bryant was also charged with simple assault, child support and a probation violation. She was held under $1,800 secured bond on those charges pending a Sept. 6 trial date.

– Sandra Chapman Moore, 63, was charged Aug. 1 with second-degree trespassing at Wal-Mart, 323 S. Arlington St.
– Anthony Todd Bailey, 47, 320 Acres Road, No. 2, was charged Aug. 2 with misdemeanor larceny of DVDs from Wal-Mart, 323 S. Arlington St. Trial date is Sept. 12.
– Michael Alexander Whaley, 613 Gold Hill Drive, reported his vehicle was stolen from his driveway Aug. 2.
– Darnel Maurice Dickey, 26, 1427 Melrose St., was charged Aug. 2 with simple assault and injury to personal property based on a complaint by Joyce Nadine Bazille. The assault occurred at Catawba College, 2300 W. Innes St. He was held under $1,500 secured bond pending a Sept. 4 trial date.
Dickey was also charged Aug. 2 with vandalism to real property. He is accused of damaging a door inside the U.S. Post Office building at 605 E. Innes St. He was held under $1,000 secured bond on that charge pending a Sept. 12 trial date.
– Tracy Silcox was charged Aug. 2 with shoplifting at Food Lion, 123 Mahaley Ave.
– Ted Glenn Blackwell, 404 Newsome Road, reported the theft of a tool box and tools valued at $350 from the open bed of his company’s work truck parked at his home the night of Aug. 1.
– Sandra Arteaga Almazan, 1407 Lakewood Drive, reported items stolen from her vehicle the morning of Aug. 2.
– Donald Alfred Brewer, 98 Shives St., reported a $150 pistol stolen from his home Aug. 2.
– Kathleen Marie Trembley reported items stolen from her vehicle while it was parked at 118 E. Fisher St. Aug. 3.
– Joseph Evans reported 300-400 pounds of aluminum valued at $2,000 were stolen Aug. 3 during a burglary at Norandal, 1709 S. Jake Alexander Blvd.
– Shaun Maurice McLean, 23, 110 E. Jackson St., East Spencer, was charged July 31 with felony robbery with a dangerous weapon. He was held under $10,000 secured bond pending a first appearance in court.
– Ebony Lachelle Oliver, 19, was charged Aug. 1 with resisting, delaying and obstructing a public officer.
– Donald Richie Baker, 41, was charged Aug. 1 with communicating threats at 226 N. Long St.
– Shontel Devon Johnson, 23, was charged Aug. 1 with vandalism to real property and willful and wanton injury at 308 S. Boundary St.
– Faith Colette Hosch, 26, 523 Bringle Ferry Road, was charged Aug. 2 with simple assault based on a complaint by Sumatra Dionne Smith, 1614 Standish St., No. 9A. Trial date is Sept. 27.
– Charlotte Charmaine Ramseur, 21, 429 E. Council St., was charged Aug. 2 with assault inflicting serious injury based on a complaint by Roy Lee Black, 522 S. Boundary St. Trial date is Sept. 6.
– Jamel Lesamuel Tarver, 19, was charged Aug. 2 with felony robbery with firearms or other dangerous weapons at 800 Mooresville Road.
