benefit for kim beeker

There will be a poker run to benefit Kim Beeker and her family on Saturday, starting at Tilley’s Harley-Davidson in Salisbury.
Registration will be 11-noon, with all bikes out by noon; cost is $10 per hand and $15 per couple; all vehicles are welcome.
Participants will stop at Grove Inn, 10 O’Clock Charlie’s and Kenny’s Pit Stop. The last stop will be Joker’s for prizes, trophies and food, with live music by Divided by 4.
Barbecue chicken plates will be $7 per plate, with pickup between 3 and 6 p.m. Tickets for the chicken are available at Tilley’s and Joker’s.
Beeker has cystic fibrosis and diabetes. She had a liver transplant in 2000, donated by her uncle, Jimmy Kincaid. Recently, she had a stroke and fell at home, breaking her nose. She will have more surgery in the future.
