North Carolina lawyers will give their time and talents April 4 in the N.C. Bar Association’s statewide Public Service Day. Volunteer attorneys will provide free legal information from eight call-in centers across the state.A toll-free number (877-404-4149) will provide access to the entire network from anywhere in the state. Some call centers will also have their own direct-access phone numbers. The Public Service Day is the association’s most extensive statewide service project. Its success is founded in the participation of members who have volunteered to organize the event and staff the call-in center phones.
