Arc/Rowan seminar
The topic of The Arc/Rowan’s May seminar, scheduled for Tuesday, May 27, is “Ground Breaking News about Apartments.”
Guest speaker for the 7 p.m. seminar ó to be held in the Hurley Room of Rowan Public Library ó is Arc/Rowan executive director Jane Jackman. The Arc/Rowan and The Arc/NC are working together to build two sets of apartments for adults with developmental disabilities to live independently in the community.
The seminar will be the perfect opportunity to find out about the apartments, ask questions and learn about the application process. It will be a very informative session and is free to the public. It is also an opportunity for teachers to earn continuing education units.
