Appalachian graduate
Jamie Lorin Kluttz graduated cum laude from Appalachian State University in Boone May 11. She received a bachelor of science degree in elementary education with a music concentration.
Kluttz, both a dean’s and chancellor’s list student at ASU, graduated from North Rowan High School in 2004. She has accepted a position as a first-grade teacher at Woodland Elementary Charter School in Atlanta.
Her parents are Jimmy and Patti Kluttz of Salisbury.
