Daniel James Allen, 18, received his Eagle Scout Award July 19 at Lewisville United Methodist Church.
George Stilphen, Scoutmaster of Troop 719, sponsored by Lewisville United Methodist Church, made the presentation.
Allen, son of Jean and Bruton Allen of Rockwell, is a graduate of East Rowan High School. He will attend Western Carolina University in the fall as a teaching fellow.
Chaplain Aide in his troop, he has earned the Order of the Arrow. He has earned 48 merit badges.
