ABC Board to discuss plans for law enforcement staff

The Rowan-Kannapolis ABC Board will discuss plans for future law enforcement staff during a meeting Monday.
The board is set to meet at 5:15 p.m. in the main office at 510 North Lee St.
The board is also scheduled to meet at 4:15 p.m. with Sheriff George Wilhelm or representatives of his department on the possibility of contracting to provide law enforcement for the ABC system.
Bill Belvin, the system’s chief and only law enforcement officer has resigned effective Monday.
The board will also handle routine business including the general manager reports and receive information on sales.
