The Millbridge Elementary School Parent-Teacher Association held it first golf tournament at the Warrior Golf Club April 28.
In all, 139 players participated in this captains choice tournament, and the PTA raised more than $11,000 from sponsorships and player money.
The money raised will help school leader replace previous catalogue fundraisers for the school. School leaders will use the money for various PTA projects for Millbridge Elementary.
The winning team was Colin Dailey, Rich Pokrin, Chuck Marion and Scott Stafford.
Second place went to the team of Chris Bolick, Steve Fisher, Randy McCarver and Terry Hensley.
Longest drive went to Randy Rush, and Dale Martin and David Wood share the prize for shots closest to the pin.
Sabrina Caudill and Bev Frost organized the event, and school leaders said: We would really like to thank all of the sponsors, players, staff parents and students who made this the biggest school-sponsored tournament that the Warrior has participated in.
